Long ride pays off

Ben Bradley and his family were so anxious to get to West Virginia Saturday that they loaded up Ben Jr. after his high school game Friday night to be at the stadium by 11:30 a.m. the next day. WVU defeated Coastal Carolina 31-0.

They drove all night.

Bradley, a 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive lineman from Norcross, Ga., committed to the Mountaineers on Wednesday. But it was a talk with head coach Bill Stewart that swung him WVU's way. He was offered by South Carolina, North Carolina State and UCF.
