Committed Prospects
Several prospects that are already committed to Southern Miss are scheduled to attend. Commitments from Alabama scheduled to be in attendance: Arsenio Favor (Stanhope-Elmore), David Fowler (Daphne), and Anthony Wilson (Homewood). Other out of state committed prospects expected in Hattiesburg include Cortez Bowen (Memphis, Tenn.) and Jeremy Hester (Panama City, Fla.) .
Several committed instate players are also expected on campus including Ocean Springs' Allen Howze and West Jones' Dasmond McCullum.
Uncommitted Prospects
Both sides of the line are a priority for the Eagles and a visit from O.C. Brown (Memphis, Tenn.) is a big plus. The 6-foot-2, 300-pounder is widely considered one of the best OG's in the South. Other quality lineman expected include Jarred Flemming (East Central CC), Seth Reedy (Piedmont, Ala.) and Melvin Meggs (Petal, Miss.).
Quality defenders expected to take in the Southern Miss campus - Ken Adams (Co-Lin CC), Bryon Bennett (Madison, Miss.), Trokon Gaye (Lawrenceville, Ga.), and Dequan Menzie (Co-Lin CC).
Taking a look around
Unofficial visit weekends are also a great opportunity to get players that may be committed to other programs to take a look at your campus and program. Southern Miss is taking advantage of this and has several committed prospects on campus this weekend.
Illinios commitment Mark Wilson (Tallahassee, Fla.) is expected on campus along with Miss State lean Carlos Thompson (Hollandale, Miss.) and South Carolina pledge Cadarious Sanders.
