Carr introduced as Director of Football Operations
John Carr, a 17-year coaching veteran with experience in the high school and collegiate ranks, has joined Southern Miss coach Todd Monken's staff as director of football operations.
"I am very excited about the opportunity to work with Coach Monken and his entire staff," Carr said. "I'm very familiar with the great tradition and even greater expectations here at Southern Miss and look forward to hitting the ground running."

Carr comes to USM from Ouachita Parish High School where he had served as the head coach since 2005.
Carr built Ouachita into a perennial state playoff team, posting a 72-28 record in seven years. Over that span, more than 30 of Carr's players signed scholarship offers with collegiate programs.
