Eagles add '16 LB

Southern Miss has added Niceville (FL) High linebacker Gavin Greene to the their 2016 recruiting class.

Greene a talented 6-foot-1, 220-pounder had a breakout season for Niceville as a senior totalling 118 tackles and five sacks.

Greene made his decision following an unofficial visit to the Southern Miss campus on Tuesday with his famous father.

It's likely Greene will be a preferred walk-on at Southern Miss. His father, NFL Hall of Famer Kevin Greene, began his career as a walk-on at Auburn.
