Eagles move to 4-0 with 69-65 win
HUNTSVILLE, Texas - Junior Michael Craig scored 21 points and senior Jonathan Mills scored 14 to lead Southern Mississippi past UC Irvine 69-65 in the Progressive Legends Classic Tuesday.
Craig also grabbed eight rebounds for the Golden Eagles (4-0), who outrebounded UC Irvine 35-20 in the game played at Sam Houston State University.

Michael Wilder led the Anteaters (3-2) with 16 points while Alex Young had 11 points and eight rebounds.
UC Irvine stayed close by hitting 9 of 21 from 3-point range, led by Wilder who was 4 for 7. But the Golden Eagles went 20 for 23 from the free-throw line to hang on.
