First Scrimmage under Fedora

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss football team opened its second week of spring football practice by going through its first full-scale scrimmage at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at Roberts Stadium Tuesday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles scrimmaged the last hour of the 2 ½ hour workout.
"The defense dominated the entire scrimmage and that is what I probably expected as they are a little bit ahead of the offense at this point," said first-year coach Larry Fedora. "The offense is still putting in their system and trying to get the rust off."
