Florida wide receiver Trent Whittemore officially entered the portal Wednesday morning as a graduate transfer.

A Gainesville, Fla. product who attended Buchholz High School, Whittemore appeared in six games this season catching four passes for 87 yards. He started in eight out of his ten appearances last season posting 19 catches for 210 yards and threw his first career passing touchdown for 13 yards. In his redshirt freshman season (2020) Whittemore had 10 catches for 128 yards.

In October, Whittemore’s brother, Creed, a class of 2023 dual-threat quarterback, announced his de-commitment from Florida.
