One of the most obvious questions in regards to Jorday is just how does a kid from Pennsylvania's count country end up on a recruiting board in South Mississippi?

" I have been in direct contact with Coach (Tom) Fratcher," Jordan said. "I gave him my info and my highlights. He communicated it to the other coaches. They evaluated me and offered me Wednesday."

Southern Miss became the second program the 6-f00t-1, 210-pounder behind Cornell.

Army, Boston College, Purdue, Temple and Wake Forest have also expressed strong interest.

When asked what it means to have two offers in hand and more schools showin interested he had this to say.

"It means a lot!," he said. "It's a true blessing and honor to be offered this early. A lot of kids dream of this and these opportunities. So I got to thank God, my family, my team and coaches for making me the player I am!"

With an Ivy League offer in hand it goes without saying that academics are high on his list of priorities when looking at schools. But, we wanted to know what some other factors are in his decision making process.

"A school that has a great support for sports," he said. "Definitely looking at the facilities like the weight room. Cause the success on the field comes from the effort and time you put in the workout at the facilities."
