Southern Miss commit Demetrius Market from South Panola (MS) opened the 2015 prep football season in style on Thursday Night. No. 2 ranked South Panola opened the season with what could be a preview of the 6A North State Championship against No. 8 Clinton.
Market a talented 5-foot-9, 170-pounder took the opening kick-off 99-yards for the score to put his Tigers up 7-0 before they snapped the ball.

In the second quarter Market stonewalled a potential game-tying drive for Clinton by pulling down an interception at the Arrows two-yard line.
South Panola went on to win 35-25, in a game that was not decided until the final two minutes. Clinton missed a 26 yard FG try with 1:57 left in the game and South Panola tacked on the final score with less than 30 second left on the game clock.
