Moultrie has great official visit

West Florida (Pensacola, FL) Tech defensive line standout Antonio Moultrie has been a longtime commitment to Southern Miss and is no stranger to the Hattiesburg campus.

He made his official visit this past weekend and talks about it with BigGoldNation.com

Moultrie was asked about his visit.

"The visit was great," Moultrie said. "I ate a lot of food. I met majority of the recruits, and already enrolled players."

I hung out with the players and we had fun," he said.

Moultrie was hosted by Southern Miss defensive lineman Ladarius "Noochie" Harris.

"Me and Noochie clicked instantly," he said. "Especially since we both play same position. We both some clowns so we made our weekend very funny!"

"He's a cool dude," Moultrie said of Harris. "He introduced me to some of the players and all. He's a good dude."

Harris also gave Moultrie a little insight on what it's been like for him in Hattiesburg.

"Only thing he told me about that is 'once you get here, it's paradise'," he said. "Everyone is family, everyone loves and everything is a brotherly bond.

"He also said, 'if you ever want a friendly environment, fans and people love you and a good chance to play and succeed in football, Southern Miss is the spot'," he continued.

Moultrie also had a chance to meet with the Southern Miss coaching staff.

"I met with all the coaches," he said.. "It was just a very well rounded trip, I really enjoyed myself and can't wait to get back to Hattiesburg."
