Turner enjoys official visit

Longtime Southern Miss commitment Jacques Turner of D'Iberville (MS) High took his official visit to Southern Miss this weekend along with about a dozen other prospects.

He talked with BigGoldNation.com about his experience on Sunday afternoon.

“It was great!,” Turner said of his visit. “I got all my questions answered, met some of the players and saw what I needed to see...”

Southern Miss sophomore defensive back Picasso Nelson, Jr. was Turner's player host.

"Picasso, he's a real good dude to be around," he said.

When asked what was the highlight of the weekend he had this to say.

"Just being around the players," he said. "I felt comfortable being with them and it felt right at home and my mom was really excited about being at the school as well."
