It appears that total may stand for the season.
Earlier today Williams positing on his twitter account said:
Had dreams of making my senior season my best season....Just ready to get this surgery and start this rehab ASAP.
He had pervioiusly posted about an MRI on his knee.
If Williams is indeed lost for the season, look for senior Jeremy Snowden and sophomore Alan Howze to become more prominate in the Eagles defensive game plans.
Snowden replaced Williams after he was taken out by an illegal chop-block early in the 3rd quarter against Virginia.
Snowed equalled his tackle total from the first three games of the year with six stops in the 2nd half of the UVA game.
Howze also had six total tackles in the first three games. He added four stops in the Virginia game.
Snowden took part in the Monday morning media conference, it was unknown at the time that he would likely be the starter on Saturday, so he will not be available for interviews for the remainder of the week.
