BGN Radio welcomes Mitch Williams

The Pine Belt's fastest growing sports talk show returns to the air tonight at 7:00 PM (CT). BigGoldNation Radio broadcasts on 98.1 WMXI-FM. WMXI-FM broadcasts to more than 250,000 households across the Pine Belt. Tonight we'll be talking about football, basketball and host an in-studio guest.

On tonight's show hosts Lanny Mixon and Cory Moore welcome friend of the show WDAM-TV Sports Director Mitch Williams to the broadcast. Williams has covered Southern Miss and prep sports in South Mississippi for more than 20 years and has a unique insight on all the happenings in the Pine Belt. The former Southern Miss letter winner in track and field will talk Southern Miss recruiting a little basketball and may even weigh in on the Brett Favre retirement announcement.

Southern Miss Dugout Club President Jimmy Pierce will check in with an update on the "great sausage dog debate" at Pete Taylor Park.

The guys will also talk Southern Miss basketball as the Eagles take on Rice tonight.
