Eagles take 4th in Paradise Jam with 64-63 win
CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands - R.L. Horton scored 19 points and rallied Southern Mississippi to a 64-63 win over Iona on Monday at the Paradise Jam.
The Golden Eagles, who trailed during most of the second half, fought their way back under the leadership of Horton and junior guard Jeremy Wise, who scored 16 points.

Southern Miss dominated the boards, outrebounding Iona 33-23. They also scored 10 points off fast breaks, compared to just two for the Gaels.
With the come-from-behind victory, Southern Miss took fourth place in the eight-team Caribbean tournament. Iona came in sixth.
Kashif Pratt led the Gaels with 14 points and Gary Springer added 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Both teams scored 17 points off turnovers. Monday's game was the first matchup between the teams.
