Media Day 2017 Report

Trying to decode all the hidden meanings in "coach speak" is like trying to decode a new language that has just been discovered. Just what are these guys trying say while dodging every question the press ask of them. Well, i don't think i have found the Rosetta Stone of "coach speak", i think i may have figured out a few things to share with you.

This is a talented but young team in a lot of areas and youngsters are gonna have to contribute immediately. O-line is going to have to grow up fast and under the gun with Kentucky coming to town. Whoever starts at QB must limit mistakes, cant get into a situation in which we have to throw and the d-line can pin their ears back and rush the passer. Wide Receivers are going to have to cut down on drops, too many dropped balls in practice.

The Defense has looked impressive all Fall Camp and Coach Hopson knows it. This group must eliminate the big play, and if they can do that, there is no reason that this group cant be tops in CUSA and finish as one of the best defenses in the country. They have everything you need, size, speed, agility, all that is left is the mental aspect.
