Schrimsher more committed that ever
Athens (Ala.) High linebacker Paxton Schrimsher has become one of the hottest late rising prospects in the Southeast over the last month. This weekend the long-time Southern Miss commitment took in an official visit to Hattiesburg.
"It was awesome!" Schrimsher said of his visit to Southern Miss. "I had a great time."

A number of schools, including Louisville, have made late pushes for the talented defender, but it looks like it has been all for naught.
"This weekend just reinforced my commitment to Southern Miss," Schrimsher said Sunday afternoon.
Schrimsher is no strangers to the Southern Miss program having made a number of unofficial visits to campus over the last year.
"The whole weekend was awesome," he said. "I don't know if one thing stood out more than anything else."
Southern Miss quarterback Nick Mullens served as Schrimsher's host on the weekend.
"I thought it was pretty neat that Nick was my host," he said. "He's a great guy, he showed me around campus, it was a good experience."
