Southern Miss extended offers to two local prospects from Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS) High on Monday. The Eagles made offers to defensive lineman Jaden Crumedy and line backer Hayes Maples.

The offers were announced by the Oak Grove Football program via social media.

Crumedy is a 6-foot-5, 230-pounder who projects as a defensive end. He had previously picked up an offer from Mississippi State. Both Southern Miss and Ole Miss offered him on Monday.

Southern Miss became the first program to extend an offer to Maples on Monday.
